Sex myths are born from the informational gaps and conflicting messages created by the radically different ways our society addresses sexual education. Misinformation and half-truths give rise to imaginative explanations, which easily spread through society. Just as storks do not deliver babies, these myths are untrue, but revealing of our fears and concerns... Have you heard any of these? Perhaps your version was slightly different? Share your own version of the story!

My hands have always been hairy, so I must have a problem. I heard the hairy palm myth when I was in 5th grade. I thought it was a wack idea, but I was still scared to touch myself after hearing about it...I missed out on a a few good years of self-fun!
